This contract staffing business allows each stadium to choose from a color palette of 15, an unusual practice for crowd management companies. Stadiums love the vivid choices that this program allows to better represent their team, their brand and their loyal fans.  Items in the program include two tone color block knit shirts, zippered and hooded wind and water resistant jackets and cold weather parkas, good to 20 degrees. Embroidered Blazers and vests complement the concierge program and a baseball hat or cold weather knit hat top off the program.  Color is what distinguishes this program. Will you find the standard black, blue and gray apparel typical of stadium wear here? Sure, but you’ll also come across neon yellow, orange, gold, royal, red, kelly green, columbia blue, white, hunter green, process blue, panther blue and stone. Job functions are as varied as the color palette, and include security, event staff, managers, fit team, guest services, security response and ushers among the more than 25 titles.  Most goods are silkscreened but can also include embroidery as well as high definition 4 color transfers to identify college and professional teams by their branded identities.

The Miami Grand Prix approached Unitex Direct to supply them with 10,000 uniforms for both stadium employees (managing attendees) and track employees (managing the race cars and drivers). The apparel collection on the track side includes a flame retardant orange jumpsuit with embroidered logo, a custom-made gray flame retardant balaclava and a white traffic safety helmet. All shirts for stadium positions were screen printed with the Formula 1 logos. The housekeeping staff attire includes tees and knit shirts colored in navy; while transportation and parking personnel are easily distinguished by royal blue and orange shirts.

An apparel program that shelters the homeless and provides them jobs on the building site in maintenance, Janitorial, security, and community service functions. In 1990, a small group of people came together to bring to scale a new model of housing for people who were experiencing or at risk of homelessness - permanent supportive housing. The result was Breaking Ground's Times Square residence. Nearly 30 years later, the Times Square remains the largest supportive residence in the country, and thousands of people have been able to escape or avoid life on the streets by finding a home in one of its 652 apartments. Today, Breaking Ground operates nearly 4,000 units of housing across New York City, along with housing in upstate New York and Connecticut. Supportive housing - affordable housing paired with wraparound services designed to help people maintain their homes for the long-term - is widely recognized as a proven and cost-effective solution to chronic homelessness.

But we didn't stop at providing housing. Breaking Ground's programs and services help people experiencing street homelessness - especially those who have been on the streets the longest - to come indoors. Through our Street to Home outreach program and transitional housing resources, we help people get, and stay, on the path to a permanent home.
